“Heard melodies are sweet, but those unheard Are sweeter; therefore ye soft pipes, Play on; Not to the sensual ear, but, more endear’d, Pipe to the spirit ditties of no tone…” -Keats PrevNext
I can hear the unheard bursting from your spirit…
I’ve been thinking about this piece for a month now. At first I didn’t like it. But I feel now that it’s exceptional — especially for Kevin — and that it’s a bold, new dimension — a combination of form, ‘still life,’ and a portraiture of a kind, emphasizing the structure of the woman’s form in relationship with the cello. Keep painting, Kevin!
