I am enjoying this portrait so much.   Today is day three of the portrait. I’ll talk about my sitter, Allen, at a later point.  For now, I can briefly say that it is such a joy to be in his company.

People are grapes, with age they can go only one of two directions- either they become mushy and sour and attract flies, or they mellow and evolve into splendid wine, a better flavor than they’ve ever been before.  I want to be like Allen when I grow up.
